Warehouse & Fleet Manager

This full-time position is responsible for ordering, receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, staging, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products used by our Technicians in the field. Ultimately, you should be able to smoothly coordinate all aspects of the supply chain so that our customers (served by our Technicians) have parts and materials when needed.
This team member must provide leadership and drive the productivity of the department. This is a vital role to the Company, driving a major aspect of our operations necessary to satisfy our customers.
Candidates must be an out-going self-starter willing to participate in evolving our strategy and continually driving improvements. The person in this role will report directly to the President & Owner of the Company.
Responsibilities:
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations

Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

Maintain standards of health, safety, and security

Manage inventory, stock control and reconcile with data storage system

Partner closely with Technicians in field and Operations team in the office

Liaise with suppliers and transport companies

Plan work routines, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

Recruit, select, orient, coach, manage and motivate employees

Produce reports and statistics regularly to minimize waste and excess inventory

Receive customer feedback and manage the quality of services accordingly

Take on special improvement projects

Oversee and maintain parts data in Operating System

Manage fleet maintenance
Qualified Applicants will have:
- HVAC Industry experience (5+ years)

Proven work experience as a warehouse manager

Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

Proficient with MS Excel – spreadsheets
-
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases

Leadership skills and the ability to manage staff

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills
Must be a motivated self-starter; ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English and perform basic mathematics. High School Diploma /GED and 5 years minimum experience required with at least 2 years for the same Company.
